Man, how fucking lucky did we get with Pence. Easily could have been a snake or a Judas.
I was so disappointed when he was picked just because I thought he was total GOPe, but he quickly proved me wrong.
I think pence would be better at grooming the next generation of conservative leaders than leading himself.
After all, he's spent the most time with Trump and knows how to make everything work.

I met Pence in 2018 when he came to Kansas City to help with some local midterm races. We were told by the Secret Service we couldn't hand him anything to sign and I was pretty bummed because I was wanting to get my MAGA hat signed, the second he got done shaking my hand Pence was like "do you want that hat signed?" and signed it. Awesome experience, 10/10 do recommend meeting Pence.
A co-worker of mine had his kid go to D.C. for a boy scout trip and during a tour Pence showed up and took pictures with them. The kid came back ecstatic. I'm sure if he was a secret prick he wouldn't bother with stuff like that.
Me too but when he debated Kaine in 2016 he looked extremely calm and presidential. Just the right amount of cockiness for the job as well. I was converted.
His demeanor during that debate reminded me of some of the best officers I had the privilege to serve with. He's just an awesome dude.
After all of this is over i would love for Trump or anyone give me insights on what actually happened behind the acreens and how he picked people. How he fought of people. How he got the right people around him etc.

I hate to say it but Trump has made some terrible picks for who he surrounds himself with. Now don't get me wrong, a lot of them were more or less forced on him by the GOP. I understand that.
