Hi there, Hungarian pede here. Some leftists are baffled how it's possible that the conservative party wins the third consecutive election here. Well, it's because the left can't cheat. As you may now after 40 years in 1989 we managed to kick commies out of our country, so we have quite a bit of experience about their dirty tricks and how to deal with them. We also know that they are like bedbugs and very hard to keep out of the system. In light of this experience, knowing that nothing is sacred for them, and they despise democracy, we created a voting system in which there is virtually no room for cheating. At least it's extremely hard to cheat with the ballots. So here are the main aspects you should consider: 1. YOU NEED BIPARTISAN VOTING COMMITTEES IN EVERY LOCATION There is no partisan vote counting, It's insane that in the USA democrat partisans are counting the ballots. It's obviously a conflict of interests, it's like letting criminals judge in their own case. How did you let this happen? See, in Hungary there is a voting committee in each and every location where voting is possible. Each and every party which has a candidate (and mind you there are more than 2 parties in Hungary) sends delegates who represents them. This polypartisan committee oversees the election from casting the votes to counting. Every member can individually/manually check every single ballot. Then every member of the committee has to validate the report with their signatures. If something fishy happens, it goes into the public report. Until everyone signs the report there is no tabulation. 2. YOU NEED COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT AND PUBLIC TABULATION Here if a ballot is unreadable or ambiguously filled, then it's void. No copying shenanigans. There are no shady tabulation softwares, no scanning, everything is paper based. When all the members of the above mentioned committee signs the report, it is published to a government website. Then it is immediately visible to everyone,it's public record, and you can see that each report was validated by the representative of your preferred party on location. If the numbers don't match on the site, any of the representatives can appeal. Everyone can then add up the numbers of these reports and thus check if the status they see on the tv or on the internet are accurate or not. It's completely transparent, public and validated by each party. 3. YOU NEED ID AND RESIDENCY VALIDATION Here in Hungary for voting you not only need a personal id but a separate document which proves that you live in the area (it's a card "lakcím kártya"). Every citizen has a designated voting location according to there official residency. Everyone who walks in to these locations is then unambiguously identified and matched with the records. Only then they can receive a ballot. No dead people voting here, and nobody can cast votes multiple times, nobody can vote on different location than it's registered. 4. MOST IMPORTANT: NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS Mail-in voting is not possible here, unless you live abroad. Even then, chain of custody of such exceptional ballots is tightly regulated and monitored, and publicly tracked. No ballot dumps can appear from out of nowhere. Days before the election it's known exactly how many votes are coming in from each foreign countries. But once again, it's obviously an option exclusively for those who can't travel home for election day. Although I have to say, these mail in ballots here as well suspiciously lean left most of the time... Having all of this said, and seeing what's happening there in the USA, I find it hilarious that some leftist politicians and media pundits in your country has the audacity to question the legitimacy of our elections.
