possible, I wasn't sure if it's 3 on each side or just 3 total ...?
If they flip 3% of the GOP votes to Dem, that's a 6% shift.
It's like when your team is about to throw a TD, but the defense intercepts and runs it back for a TD of their own. It's only 7 points that flipped, but it's a 14 point swing.
God is there any kind of plan for this massive loss of leadership nationwide? I know the Constitution pretty well, but anyone know how this is handled?
The truth? The Constitution says everyone has to vote on the same day. Art 2, Sec 1, Cl 4. Scrapping every early vote, mail-in vote, late vote, and yes, even absentee votes is what should be done. And before people whine about absentee votes, I have been voting absentee for 30 years, because of military service and military contractor work. There has never been a reason in any location I have ever been, that an actual polling booth could not have been set up to take votes on election day. There is no need for absentee ballots. Vote in person, no matter where you are, and do it on election day.
