Huge areas of Portland are base. It's just that they have been overwhelmed by an entrenched Communist regime that has worked for decades to stay in power. They have worked diligently to brain wash the population through the most Marxist education system in the nation. They have also worked very hard to attract radicals and welfare parasites. It's the place to go for homeless drug addicts. It's all part of the plan.
I'm lucky that I ended up buying my house way north of Portlandgrad in a very base county. My town is filled with Trump flags and signs. It is now obvious that the commies are only in power because of massive decades long fraud.
I am in a "safe" location that is actually militarily defendable but I have been working out an escape plan for awhile. I have been thinking about this sort of thing for 40 years. My vehicle selection is predicated on this even. To tell the truth, I never wanted to leave Arizona but Oregon was the only place I could find work. I was in California for 7 years. I would be more concerned there. Californians are 1984 nuts. After I moved from California, my son (a young adult then) stayed. I saved up 3 thousand in cash to use to rescue him if needed. He ended up moving here with his wife 7 years ago on his own. Right now I am preparing to get my butt back to AZ. Problem is that I have been living paycheck to paycheck and have no reserves.
