I lost them to...they weren’t real friends. I also see political parties as a reflection of people’s morals and values...when you’re morally different or your values aren’t the same it’s hard to keep a friendship.
I feel it. I got alotta shit because I’m Mexican and i came out in support of Trump because he was one of the few people calling out the rioting and looting and you know how leftists are when someone from a minority group supports Trump. It’s all good though, I won’t be missing them 😴
You're just one of the "good one's." You know the guy all we Trump supporters say we are friends with when our inherent racism is brought ot in arguments. (Sarcasm) This is the problem with politics in America, for the most part people agree with each other. Failure to coalesce with the fringe crazies makes you an outsider.
My best friend, or ex-best friend (we knew each other our entire life but came good friends when we were 9 or so). Is a Trump supporter, entire family also. Their dad is extremely wealthy and a successful business man who owns skyscrapers and all.
Anyways, we haven’t spoken for a year. She had a childhood best friend, who’s known her as long as I have, but she clearly valued that friend more than she ever valued me. Hate that individual, especially since she would badmouth me and manipulate my best friend about me.
I remember that childhood best friend just talking major shit about her mom, and the family, saying they’re all “Trump supporters” and going on how bad and how fucked up they are for supporting Trump. She badmouthed her and her family in front of group of people. The idiot didn’t realize I supported Trump too, so I played dumb when she ranted for almost an hour.
When I told my best friend this all the shit talking she did, she didn’t do anything about it. At that point it was obvious that no matter how much this ass of a person can use her, brainwash her, talk bad about her and her family etc there’s no way of getting rid of her.
It’s one of the things that will always piss me off.
I also had friends treat me like shit, and talk shit about me, and painted me as stupid, solely cause I defended Trump.

As soon as I read “she”, it hit home. I’m a woman and I hate to say it, but I get why people are always knocking all these mindless harpies. There’s good reason as to why I have fewer friends as I get older. Quality over quantity. You learn to recognize good qualities in people. There are plenty of fellow MAGA women out there, you’ll find truer friends. Just stay positive and don’t change for anyone.
It sucks that I weirdly miss her every day. I remember she saw me back in October by chance, she was passing by in the passenger seat. She looked at me while I was walking my dog, and was looking while also hiding. Made me think she must really hate me since she was hiding/looking.
Anyways, yeah I won't change for anybody. Thanks for the positive words.

I had to block my bestest friend (like a brother)back in may 2017 after he starting shaming me on social media. He said Trump supporters harrassed him for MONTHS after Trump won calling him N word and faggot and pushed him off a curb! (He is black n gay in philadelphia) Never spoke to him or responded to any of his TDS NONSENSE just blocked him from my life. August 2020 he sent my husband a text "I hope you both die"

I'm getting the same thing, especially today. Blood relatives (never mind the friends) gloating and laughing and being extremely condescending and nasty.
What sort of "candidate" do they follow that would make anyone behave that way towards a family member? We always had a good relationship before this.
I did not ever, ever treat them this way after Trump won. Not for a second.
