can you guys try not to become leftists while trying to fight leftists?

https://twitter.com/ReporterCioffi/status/1324753546970103808

"But you'll also see me trying to find common ground that would benefit all of us and a good place to start, I think, would be the debt and infrastructure and immigration.""

Tucker is out of line.

A politician saying they will make an attempt to negotiate with the other side is NOT TREASON

It is in fact... wait for it: his fucking job to make that attempt.

EDIT: Click that blue link "for suggesting". It will take you to the tweet I have quoted above.

This is fucking Resetra /Jezzebel level bullshit to mis-interpret a direct quotation from "find common ground" -> "meet in the middle" -> "split the difference" -> "amnesty for 11 million"

Sure if the asshole didn’t have a track record of selling out his country.

Fool me once...

iamherefortheluls 0 points ago +6 / -6

this 'asshole' right now is giving half a million of his own cash to keep GEOTUS in the fight.

You realize we are in a legal battle across 6+ states and Trump's campaign has to foot those bills after likely spending all the reserves on that rally marathon? That's legal expenditures on insane scope. And they have to pay for investigations at the same time too because DOJ / FBI sure as shit won't be helping.

NoMoreMao 7 points ago +8 / -1

Everybody with brain knows it’s a payoff.

How did he get his hands on a half a mill anyway?

Lindsey is trying to hedge his bets. He’s a faggot.

1
ZionHalcyon 1 point ago +1 / -0

Here's the thing.

No one paying attention should have mistaken Graham for anything other than a pure political animal. in some sense he is the swamp. But in another sense, he is completely honest in his dishonesty and thereby entirely predictable.

Graham has no morals. He picks the side he thinks will win. If he's on The winning side he'll fight like hell for you. but if he senses you will lose power he will easily flip and fight like hell for the other side. Completely self-serving and yet that is how he has survived.

He is best used as the canary in the coal mine.

The fact that he donated $500,000 to the defense fund after spending a day to think about it, should only deliver one message to those of us who really care about Trump. That is Graham, a completely self-serving creature, thought enough of Trump's chances that he donated that $500,000.

If he's hedging his bets, then he knows that this isn't in the bag for Biden.

As I said, his best use is the canary in the coal mine.

Let him be just that and put no more stock or faith in him other than that.

The thing about Graham is he's useful.

So long as you demonstrate you have the power, he isn't going to backstab you. He will hedge some bets and protect his ass first and foremost, but he's smart enough not to tackle the biggest dog in the room.

And until we get far more Trump loyalists into the government, we will need him.

And if that pisses you off, just remember to be where the wrath of a patient man.

Once Trump completes his second term, I would not be surprised if a pro Trump person primaries him.

Trump will wait until he's done in office and when Graham thinks he's safe.

Because very few out there love revenge like Trump.

-1
iamherefortheluls -1 points ago +3 / -4

Let me compare him to all the loyalists who are helping out right now, given Trump's campaign was already in debt when they began this legal fight...

oh wait. There aren't any others funding Trump.

Do a comparison - the fucking Lincoln Project - those guys are sitting on 66 million. Trump's campaign is in debt. That half a million right now may make the difference between full collapse and ongoing fight.

From where I am sitting, Trump by every outward appearance is in serious trouble. He has the law on his side, but the law is decided by money more often than not and Trump is in the red while Dems have literally unlimited money backing them.

Graham is publicly siding with him, in the most outspoken way possible - fat cash stacks during moment of desperate need.

It’s not like he’s giving his own personal money. It’s his campaign money.

2
iamherefortheluls 2 points ago +3 / -1

which he gets to keep at the end. meaning its his money now.

Prometheus76 4 points ago +4 / -0

It's called "wallpapering". Graham was friends with, and trained by, John McCain. The same John McCain that sold weapons to ISIS in Syria, not to mention thousands of other heinous crimes. Why are you hypnotized by Graham? Why do you need him so much?

-1
iamherefortheluls -1 points ago +1 / -2

Why are you hypnotized by Graham? Why do you need him so much?

I've learned his name today. I argue in his favor because Trump is running short of allies and I don't people here starting infighting in the most critical point of this battle.

2
Prometheus76 2 points ago +2 / -0

Graham is not an ally. That's the point. He's a double agent. Read some Art of War.

How is it even on the table to grant amnesty to 11 to 22 million illegals?

Even third world countries are not that stupid.

-4
iamherefortheluls -4 points ago +2 / -6

source on proposal to

grant amnesty to 11

?

edit: all I have seen is the quoted tweet and than some really fucking wild interpretations of it. There is a lot of ground between a generic 'lets try to find common ground' and amnesty for 11 million.

9
reclaiming_mycountry 9 points ago +9 / -0

In the top message news link:

During a segment Friday night, Carlson called out Graham — who just won reelection in South Carolina — for suggesting to the Senate Republican caucus that their agenda next year could include working with Democrats on amnesty for 11 to 22 million illegal aliens.

-4
iamherefortheluls -4 points ago +2 / -6

guy come on. Click that blue link "for suggesting". It will take you to the tweet I have quoted above.

This is fucking Resetra /Jezzebel level bullshit to mis-interpret a direct quotation as "find common ground" -> "meet in the middle" -> "split the difference" -> "amnesty for 11 million"

6
reclaiming_mycountry 6 points ago +6 / -0

That's the point. Why should there be a common ground when there no reason to have that talk?

They want to grant all illegals citizenship, but we want to deport them all.

As it should be, there should be no common ground for criminals.

You come and stay here illegally, you will be sent back legally.

-2
iamherefortheluls -2 points ago +1 / -3

you know immigration issue is not just about what to do will illegals in the country? everything from immigration quotas, to procedures of processing petitioners and requirements falls under that.

You are hyper-focusing on one sub-issue.

FYI - if republicans publicly take a position of 'our way, or no way. no talks or negotiations with Dems', the centrists will reject them and you will lose every election until you adopt a less extreme stance.

No, when it comes to negotiating with the other side. The other side needs to show Good Faith to even remotely start negotiations.

What exactly has the Democrats done at all to show they are willing to negotiate in good faith?

They said no money for the wall No money for Covid Relief NO ANYTHING IMPEACH

So why should we extend the olive branch first, all we do is tell them we're willing to bend over backwards to lick the plate they just ate off off...Its time to start playing negotiations like Trump. Make them come to us, make them give concessions and maybe we'll let them have that one family in their state that can live in the U.S. and I mean exactly 1 Family, not 10,000 families. Just that one family that we get to choose.

1
iamherefortheluls 1 point ago +1 / -0

you've seen them fighting and arguing with each other in the house over these election results, right?

they are not a uniform coalition. There is a big split between progressives and moderates less progressive ones and there is dialogue to be had.

Especially know when their majority has diminished and even a few rogue votes can turn critical decisions in Republican's favor.

Last night Tucker mentioned Lindsay immediately went on to support mass amnesty again after his reelection the other night and completely folded. I'm glad he's supporting our President, but this constant amnesty shit shows where his priorities really lie.

Once the supreme court gets to the bottom of the fuckery in pennsylvania, I have a feeling the bottom is gonna fall out for the Democrats. Once that happens these fair weather rinos will act like they knew Trump won all along.

Swamp creatures.

Amnesty incoming with this shill

MrPussyWhiskers 5 points ago +5 / -0

The problem with Trump is that he likes to get shit done quickly instead of taking his time, taking a few bribes, and blaming the opposition for not delivering on his promises. So most Republicans (career politicians) want him out.

Noxapalooza 4 points ago +4 / -0
