Parler needs to allow everyone to see posts without an account. The idea that you have to give them your phone number, a trackable device, just to see what people are saying is ridiculous.
If you want to have an account and post there, and you're willing to verify your identity, that's fine. But give the public read access to the site just as twitter does.
Edit: Apparently they DO allow public access to user posts. This is gigantic. At the very least the President should setup an account that mirrors his twitter account so everyone can see twitters censorship.
I made an account very early on with them with gab with Twitter even probably the first week they ever existed just to kind of figure it all out. YouTubing since the first month.
However, I don’t use/depend on social media. Only enough to “know thy enemy”. It’s always been pretty clear to me. But I’ve been “digital” for a long time.
Unless somebody provides Parler with the necessary funding and technical support to open up the platform in record time, this is a dead end. Parler is currently a closed platform, requiring people to join and be logged in to read content.
If you can’t be a lurker, it will never be popular. We need a twitter replacement where you can read stuff without logging in. Parler will never succeed requiring people to login. Period.
Aha! I see. I can duckduckgo parler bongino and then get to his page, and you’re right I can lurk! They really do need to add a search box on the home page so we can easily find people to lurk on, but this is a good start!

This is huge! It's what put me off Parler at the beginning. GEOTUS should absolutely dump twitter, and then watch their stock plummet.
