I started reading Trump’s “Never Give Up” recently and I was struck by the parallels between how he’s handling the 4-year-long assault on his Presidency (culminating in this attempted election theft) and how he handled the crisis of his near-bankruptcy almost 30 years ago:
“In March of 1991, both the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times ran front page stories—on the same day!—detailing my predicament and the total financial ruin that would happen any moment."
“However, giving up is something that never entered my mind. Not for one second, and that’s one reason I think I confounded my critics. They were trying to skewer me, but it had the opposite effect—it just made me want to make a comeback and in a big way. I knew I could prove them wrong by being stubborn, being tenacious, and not giving in or giving up. I became a stronger person very quickly during this time.”
So then as now he had to fight a hostile press, headed, naturally, by the Old Gray Whore. But the motto “What does not destroy me makes me stronger” applies to him as to few others—ever.
And his intelligence is constantly being underestimated by “Elite” snobs because of his rough edges. In fact, he’s so intelligent that he knows exactly how to turn that dismissiveness to his advantage. He uses the Colombo method. Lull the smug bastards into thinking you’re a mental pushover, encourage their natural arrogance till it becomes hubris, encourage their smugness till they make careless mistakes, then: go in for the kill! Even years later they won’t even know what happened to them.
He’s sneered at for his swagger. The little yelping jackals in the Press say HE is the arrogant blowhard, the narcissist, etc. But listen to this from a man who’s been under more constant, extreme pressure than any President ever (except maybe Lincoln!):
“A lot of success depends on how well you can handle pressure. It may seem like a hard fact of life, and it is, but there is something you can do about it. Envision yourself as victorious. Focus on that instead of your nagging doubts and fears. Focus on objective insights and solutions. Pressure can diminish and disappear when you clobber it with a positive attitude. Even if you don’t feel indomitable, act that way for a while. It works.”
Tactical swagger!
“Problems are often opportunities in disguise. I began to see my situation [in 1991] as a great opportunity...Then there was a turning point, and that turning point was my attitude. My accountants still remember the night they were in the conference room until all hours in the woe-is-us mode, and I suddenly walked in to tell them about all the new projects I had lined up for us. There were a lot of projects, and they were big deals. I was in an exuberant mood…They thought I had cracked, that maybe I was beginning to hallucinate from the pressure, but I had reached a point where I knew it was time to move forward. It wasn’t an act I put on—I was ready. All this financial pressure would be behind us in a short amount of time, I told them. I believed it, too.”
Maybe Trump’s top advisers were as glum as those accountants when they saw how massive the voter fraud was turning out to be. If so, Trump was the alpha who told them to buck the fuck up. After all, he saw this coming. The positive “projects” were the legal battles, the investigations, the red-pilling about, e.g., Dominion software, IOW a massive counter-attack on all fronts, which he’d been planning for months, maybe years in advance. He may well have been warned by white hats with military/DS connections. NSA chief Admiral Rogers had warned him he was the target of an illegal investigation just after the 2016 Election, and now maybe Air Force General McInerny has warned him well in advance about Hammer and Scorecard (an NSA-developed program).
So when Trump faced his first big crisis, he triumphed over it by the force of his mind and character. Now he’s facing a crisis incomparably more momentous than personal bankruptcy. The fate of this country and what’s left of the Free World is at stake, thanks to the forces of corruption and evil. And thanks to those same strengths I have no doubt that he will triumph this time, as well.
“Did I ever think I’d be in the Guinness Book of World Records [for the biggest financial turnaround in history]? No. I am, though, because of this reversal. It’s a fact I’m proud of. Adversity works that way sometimes. Let it work to your advantage.”
He has always had incredible spiritual strength. But maybe even his fans underestimated just HOW much he has. How many of us (besides Nixon) thought he would ever be President? How many of even his biggest admirers suspected he might actually be—at the risk of sounding blasphemous—a kind of secular Chosen One, God’s warrior in the fight against Satan’s spawn?
In the first iteration of the Trump Miracle he set one World Record—a prize, really, for sheer tenacity, resourcefulness and positive thinking. Now, he’s in the running for the Nobel Prize--but forget that for now. He’s in the process of setting one of the biggest World Records of all time, and whatever ultimate cosmic Prize you win for saving America, democracy and the world.
