The state is controlled for a Republican governor, but the county of Maricopa where Phoenix and most of the votes are is currently controlled by 2018 demonrats.

On election night, they delayed counting anything to let the D lead in early voting stand as the supposed count of the night. For hours the vote total sat unmoving at not much more than the total votes already received by October 31, as mentioned (separately, not the connection) in multiple media reports. That formed the basis of the early “call” of the state to help make it look like Biden was winning.

Now they actually have to count them, and if they counted them honestly Trump would narrowly win the state by all estimates. Close, but a margin in the 10Ks range.

But the Ds don’t want that story hitting until they appear to have the electoral college majority from elsewhere. They might even try to steal AZ too by additional fraud if they thought e.g. that they couldn’t steal GA.

Understand, Ds prefer to conduct all their steals in states where they control the governor, because they can hide behind selective non-enforcement by states attornies where that is the case. It is putting their necks on a chopping block to outright steal in AZ under a Republican governor. They still have a corrupt big city machine here, based on the same sort of one sided minority wards they have in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Detroit and Milwaukee - though not as lopsided here and Hispanic not black minority areas. But they only want to risk an outright steal if they can’t live without AZ’s 11 electoral votes.

I think their plan was just to stall in AZ, steal PA too to be safe, then let the count proceed and lose it late, and say “see the process is fair it just takes a while, and oh, we won elsewhere”. But since they fear they will lose the PA steal and the GA one also looks shaky, they think they might actually need AZ.

We of course need them to conduct the count and now, and to show AZ in Trump’s column where it belongs. But we also can’t give them MI or WI, which were both blatant steals, any more than PA or GA. They have the strongest state control and inner city machines in those places and expect them to protect their thefts.

They want the Trump people playing defense in PA where they have the state offices and a 5-2 state SC and recent unconstitutional state SC rulings on late ballots and so on, even though an 800,000 vote steal was a huge risk and leap there. I don’t think they honestly expect that one to hold up. But nobody challenged the WI and MI and now GA (and NV) steals in the meantime, they think they can win even writing off PA and AZ.

As usual, they want to run the clock to wait for late in the day to see whether they can afford to concede AZ. They can’t if the GA (or WI) frauds fail to hold, for example.

It’s all very Stalinist, I’m afraid. Remember we are dealing with a centrally directed strategy by a monolithic communist party here, that wargamed this all out as a color revolution, not with any honest attempt to just count the votes.
