I don't think Virginia is blue and I think New Jersey is 60% blue at most. New Jersey doesn't have real urban centers, just bastard versions of NY/Philly. Once you're outside of there NJ is rural and suburban. You can drive 15-20 minutes from any of the beach towns and find yourself in farmland.
