I understand the meaning. I personally feel my property and life is now at risk. Is this something that would be still wrong to do at this point. I would hate to make a statement and hurt those that have given their lives for our country.

Im retired Army, it would not bother me and I would be like YUP

however, I know some people are way more into this type of thing than I am. For example some people get their panties in a bunch if you wear a pattern of the flag on clothing.

So at the end of the day, I think you have to do whats right for you.

Thank you. Because I was about to run out to the pole and do this, but my anger can be expressed in more productive ways. I'm sure if it gets to a point. Someone that actually served our country will make this suggestion, and I will follow their lead. Deep down, my rational mind is telling me. I haven't earned that right. Thank you.

Absolutely not.

IF you decide to do it, it should be if Trump is illegally removed from office.

My money is on Trump doing what he always does though, defeating these lying criminals.

More appropriate would be flying it at half staff until the chicanery plays out. Upside down is a call for assistance and help.

Half staff for mourning the theft of the election.

The republic is in distress, so you can.

It is disrespectful. However, while I won't like it, I can't say I would really blame you.

Learn history. Flying the ensign or national flag upside down is a centuries old method to signal distress.

Yes, allow the timelines established in the EO to play out.

I was taught that it should be used only in cases of immenent or current need.

Eg. If you want a fireteam of rangers to come help because mobs are attacking, you fly the flag upside down

No. Because it's not being done lightly or ironically, or in ignorance, or with disrespect.

The Republic is under direct attack. The rightfully elected Constitutional government is being overthrown by both violent and nefarious means with proven collusion by hostile foreign powers. These are the facts.

Do not back down.

This seems to be legit:

Flying the American flag upside down is an officially recognized signal of distress. § 8(a)The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.
