I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown into the fire and is burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
I am too. For me, I never really grasped the inexplicable depth of what it means to strive to “ abide”, until I read an old book called “Abide in Christ” by Andrew Murray. If you have read it, you likely know what I mean. This single Bible concept is, IMHO, the basis of all that is truly worthwhile in this life and it offers the participant an incredible vision beyond mere hope. That said. I feel that I know the heart of this President through a close study of his actions and words over the past 4 years. I also happen to know someone very well who was on his show years ago, who reinforces my sense of the man. I firmly believe that President Trump will eventually rise above the corruption, lies and hatred and will prevail. He has God by his side, of that I am convinced.
