If you really want to be something other than a passive target you have to be in shape, have to constantly practice, have a network of like minded people around you (your squad). Have comms, supplies, know your area, have excellent land navigation skills... evasion etc etc.

There are very very effective methods to win in asymmetric warfare. As far as drones/bombs, there are optics and consequences to consider. Even if they can gaslight the optics away, they don’t want to win a pile of rubble to rule over. It’s not guaranteed victory for either side. A second American hot civil war would likely be one of the bloodiest conflicts ever fought if it hits a roiling boil.
