The SCOTUS is not a “final say”; they are a court that rules on cases. If the Trump campaign sues the PA election board, the Court can determine that the election board is guilty or not guilty of what is charged. So the suits need to be taylored for outcomes in which a Trump win means Biden votes are deleted. We can use this as a mechanism for victory, but ultimately it has to be couched inside a lawsuit. SCOTUS justices are judges, not prophets.

I heard that the voter turnout for Wisconsin was 90%, ie 90% of eligible voters voted. Historically it’s 60-70%, and it’s not 90% in other states which is an anomaly. This is even more of a turnout than New Zealand which has around 90% voter turnout while having a law that mandates voting.
I don't know if he means turn out of eligible voters or turnout of registered voters, but the denominator of turnout would have to include same day voter registration.

Yeah you can’t redo an election. That’d totally unprecedented, especially since the popular vote method is provisional anyway. What would happen is the whole Pennsylvania election is thrown out, or small parts of it are thrown out (Pittsburgh, Phila). If parts of it are excised, just count the votes that remain. If the whole thing is tossed out, the General Assembly of the Commonwealth will simply select 20 Republican electors.
It's not impossible or unheard of (you'd do it as a runoff), but it wouldn't be fair. The national dynamic would completely change the voting demographics. So yes you must throw out at least the precincts that cheated.
Local elections are different from the presidential election. They give you one ballot but it’s really five or six separate elections. Even with that in mind presidency is a special case. The president is not elected by the people, but by the electoral college, which is a delegation sent by the state legislatures. There’s no authority to redo the presidential election because the presidential election being on the ballot is just a nicety anyway. It’s not part of the Constitution of the United States.
Each State decides how to appoint it's electors. Every one is tied to the popular vote. Appointing them with no popular vote would effectively require them all to be faithless.

The senate should be 50-50 after Alaska and North Carolina are called. In Georgia the odds favor us winning both. In one race the republican is ahead and only failed to make it to 50%. In the other the dem is ahead at 33% but two republicans are splitting 46%. Also, I don't think the dems will be as motivated without trump on the ballot but I bet republicans will be.

I truly feel what’s going to end up happening in a few of these states is that the entire vote count is going to be considered corrupted and unrecoverable and so the state legislature is going to have to pick the electors, which will favor trump in ever battle ground state.
17th amendment, you’re right. The federalists (or anti-federalists, who were more federalist than the capital f Federalists) fought for the state legislatures to get to vote for US Senators and the president under the Constitution. In many states, the state legislatures established a popular vote system, and awarded electors based on this, even since the very first election. This is sort of a shirking of Constitutional responsibility, but it is in no way prohibited by the Constitution probably as a compromise. Senators, however, were not voted for by the people until the 17th amendment.
But by placing these offices (POTUS, VP, US Senator) on the ballot, the state government is decoupled from the federal government. Instead of the federal government being accountable to the people via the state governments (and the House of Representatives), it’s now “accountable” directly to the people. Whoch really means it’s accountable to us via tye national political machines; not accountable to us at all. Don’t get me wrong, the state governments were and are corrupt, but they are more accountable to us. They don’t lie behind thick walls of bureaucracy.
The other effect of decoupling the Senate and Presidency from the State legislatures is that State politics has lost prestige. All we care about is electing Trump, and electing MAGA politicians. And we should! But really, we should be concerned about local issues first, and the federal government shouldn’t have any say in these anyway. By establishing the popular vote for POTUS and the direct election of Senators, We’ve given the federal government ample excuse to overstep its authority. After all, it was “the will of the people.”

The fact that it took FOUR days to count all of the votes is suspicious as hell by itself, but observers being denied entry even after a judge ordered entry, dead voters voting, and 130,000+ last minute ballots being counted at 4 AM just seals the deal,

Alito said to make sure they separate the ballots by date back at the end of Oct when SCOTUS deadlocked originally cause this issue would probably come back to them. The PA SoS sent a memo to counties saying to separate ballots. The Repubs said they needed an injunction to make sure that the separating is occurring. Alito last night said that no one has been able to confirm that ballot separating is happening. PA is claiming today that they have been separating them and that there is no evidence that counties haven't been doing that.
This lawsuit only deals with deadline issues on receiving ballots. It has nothing to do with poll watchers, back dating, glitches, or anything else. If it can be shown that ballot separating wasn't occurring, then the PA count is up in the air.
It depends on if the counts they were giving were from ballots that came before or after the date. It’s a safe bet that they came after, but that needs to be proven. Basically, it’s a nightmarish mess.

He'll probably vote with the majority because it'll help with his credentials and won't make a difference. If they put pressure on him to flip, and he does, it only looks more suspicious. Of course, at this point, they're in so deep they may do anything to win.
This is going to be Bush v. Gore on steroids. Biden led the campaign to destroy Thomas and Harris led the campaign to destroy Kavanaugh. Google the Wickard wheat case. The same judges that struck down every new deal law that came in front of them for years reversed course because FDR had the votes to pack the court. They re-wrote the commerce clause to avoid court packing. Wickard wheat drastically altered the country, allowing congress near limitless authority to pass nation wide laws. SCOTUS would put a horse in the oval office for four years to save themselves. Democrats got cocky threatening the Supreme Court when they couldn't make good on it the next day if the Court stepped out of line.
SCOTUS will hand Trump the presidency to save themselves and the resulting backlash will be unprecedented.

I've always been one to trust my gut and my gut says that this election was the most corrupt, ever.
I, like many of you, have read headlines/stories of many different viewpoints and opinions. I really like how President Trump is handling this right now. He's very cautious and letting the opposition say and do everything...in essence, he's letting them show their hand. That's the "Art of the Deal" (for anyone who hasn't read the book). Let your adversaries speak and act first. And then come in with the truth and all laws that prove them wrong.
I think that President Trump has an ace in the hole that he's ready to drop. The possible aces are: The companies that produced the ballots will testify that there's no way they produced that many and they can likely show proof. Or the ballots do in fact have a watermark showing location/production dates and run tallies. And let's no forget that there are laws in place that will force the SCOTUS to abide by.
President Trump will likely win in the courts but the scary thing is, these legal actions may take the US election past January 20, 2021 which will activate a Constitutional Crisis and that means Speaker Pelosi becomes President.

I heard that the voter turnout for Wisconsin was 90%, ie 90% of eligible voters voted. Historically it’s 60-70%, and it’s not 90% in other states which is an anomaly. This is even more of a turnout than New Zealand which has around 90% voter turnout while having a law that mandates voting.
Even with same day voter registration which we do have here in WI a 90% voter turnout has never occurred. 60% is high.

Yeah you can’t redo an election. That’d totally unprecedented, especially since the popular vote method is provisional anyway. What would happen is the whole Pennsylvania election is thrown out, or small parts of it are thrown out (Pittsburgh, Phila). If parts of it are excised, just count the votes that remain. If the whole thing is tossed out, the General Assembly of the Commonwealth will simply select 20 Republican electors.
It's not impossible or unheard of (you'd do it as a runoff), but it wouldn't be fair. The national dynamic would completely change the voting demographics. So yes you must throw out at least the precincts that cheated.

The president is not elected by the people, but by the electoral college, which is a delegation sent by the state legislatures. There’s no authority to redo the presidential election because the presidential election being on the ballot is just a nicety anyway. It’s not part of the Constitution of the United States.
Each State decides how to appoint it's electors. Every one is tied to the popular vote. Appointing them with no popular vote would effectively require them all to be faithless.

The federalists (or anti-federalists, who were more federalist than the capital f Federalists) fought for the state legislatures to get to vote for US Senators and the president under the Constitution. In many states, the state legislatures established a popular vote system, and awarded electors based on this, even since the very first election. This is sort of a shirking of Constitutional responsibility, but it is in no way prohibited by the Constitution probably as a compromise. Senators, however, were not voted for by the people until the 17th amendment.
But by placing these offices (POTUS, VP, US Senator) on the ballot, the state government is decoupled from the federal government. Instead of the federal government being accountable to the people via the state governments (and the House of Representatives), it’s now “accountable” directly to the people. Whoch really means it’s accountable to us via tye national political machines; not accountable to us at all. Don’t get me wrong, the state governments were and are corrupt, but they are more accountable to us. They don’t lie behind thick walls of bureaucracy.
The other effect of decoupling the Senate and Presidency from the State legislatures is that State politics has lost prestige. All we care about is electing Trump, and electing MAGA politicians. And we should! But really, we should be concerned about local issues first, and the federal government shouldn’t have any say in these anyway. By establishing the popular vote for POTUS and the direct election of Senators, We’ve given the federal government ample excuse to overstep its authority. After all, it was “the will of the people.”

Alito said to make sure they separate the ballots by date back at the end of Oct when SCOTUS deadlocked originally cause this issue would probably come back to them. The PA SoS sent a memo to counties saying to separate ballots. The Repubs said they needed an injunction to make sure that the separating is occurring. Alito last night said that no one has been able to confirm that ballot separating is happening. PA is claiming today that they have been separating them and that there is no evidence that counties haven't been doing that.
This lawsuit only deals with deadline issues on receiving ballots. It has nothing to do with poll watchers, back dating, glitches, or anything else. If it can be shown that ballot separating wasn't occurring, then the PA count is up in the air.

Sorry, but there is no chance a contested US presidential election does not end up in the Supreme Court unless one party concedes. If for no other reason, the Supremes are so full of themselves they will feel the need to weigh in. Unless you think there isn't actually fraud, there's no reason to expect them to find for Biden. Also, I don't think ACB will recuse.
