That's what I'm thinking as well. No matter what they would have a plan for a possible recount. Destroying the ballots on top of not allowing any poll watchers in seems like a really dicey thing to try to explain to a court, but I guess they could've banked on Trump conceding, or they know the Supreme Court won't care. I'd think it's more likely that these hastily made ballots (ie. the middle of the night 600k+ in PA, not the initial batch) would just be swapped with better made forgeries in the coming days in preparation for a court ruling. That would give them weeks to create more believable fakes (not using the same handwriting and pens, discarding the dead people ballots).
