Lincoln had people nominated and confirmed in one day. This narrative is a leftist narrative to discredit ACB.

Who says she can't rule?

She was sworn in before the election.

9
Buce-Nudo 9 points ago +9 / -0

I'm pretty sure she can. I know that she's exempt from cases chosen to go before the Supreme Court before her confirmation. They do a batch of new cases periodically and she missed out on the last one, like Kavanaugh did when they delayed his hearing. (Sorry, hearings.)

This would be a fresh case though. It's why they were pushing her to recuse herself from a hypothetical electoral case which was not obviously telegraphed or planned out in any way. Any resemblance to real life cases is purely coincidental. wink

The ruling already happened, it was 4-4 so it wasn't overturned.

Is this supposed to be a playing clip? Doesn't surprise me; they'll get their just desserts soon.

But they didn't do that, so what remedy is available now? I don't see any remedy other than just saying fuck it let them steal the election or throwing out all the votes that were tainted by the illegal votes.

SC is a blunt object. They could rule that counties that did not follow order will have vote negated. County has two choices. Revote or loose votes. Yes the Supreme Court has done this type of stuff (invalidated the whole state vote) in history to a whole state that sent two sets of electors to the Electoral College.

Yep.

She had time to rule on the two PA cases.

She chose not to.

Graham donated $500,000 to Trump's legal fund. He is doing his part. Don't pillory him.

If you're going to pillory anyone, go after the squishy GOPers who haven't done anything.

arkylady 6 points ago +6 / -0

Right. I don't trust Graham at all, but he has at least stepped up a few times when we needed him to which is more than many of them can say.

salt_farmer 3 points ago +3 / -0

I don’t know much about Graham and how he made his money. But the fact that he has 500k just lying around to donate on a Gov salary doesn’t make me feel much better about the guy.

Again, take this with a grain of salt.

All that said, I will give him credit for the times he has stepped up. But I’m not really sure where him interests truly lie.

I can't blame you, I had the same thought. You probably don't have $500,000 lying around as a politician unless you're crooked. But maybe the money is coming out of his campaign rather than his own pocket, which may well be.

So he used some of his grift to buy your good will. Glad you are happy.

I dont remember the timeline too well. When were the hearings slowed down and what did Graham do?

9
_Cabal_ [S] 9 points ago +9 / -0

They waited like 2 weeks before even beginning the hearings, which weren't even necessary anyway.

7
Pigpenlordofdirt 7 points ago +8 / -1

It sucks but this doesn't seem intentional. Something shit just happens

iouybiy 4 points ago +4 / -0

They didnt rule on it at all yet, they just didnt grant cert and also said you better keep the ballots separated. Trump or any PA voter can still bring the case and they will.

Indeed. For some reason, Trump's picks are often unforced errors that hurt MAGA effort and ultimately shoot himself in the foot. He absolutely must have better picks during his 2nd term.

1
GoopNIL 1 point ago +1 / -0

They had good reasons for deciding PA and WI differently.

Holy shit, sad. I wonder why in the world....lurking into a trap?

There's a theory that they needed it to pass in order to set the trap.

FORGET ABOUT THESE SILLY BALLOTS PEDES. THE BALLOTS DON'T MATTER WHEN THE ENTIRE VOTING INFRASTRUCTURE IS COMPROMISED BY DOMINION VOTING SYSTEMS.

Grahams picture should be next to the definition of Political Whore in the dictionary.

Graham is a scumbag. It is time to form a new party and ditch the Republican scum.

Some say it's part of the plan to expose the fraud.

Maybe Lindsay will go Punished Lindsay when this is over.

Hey, keep that faith Trump wins either way might as well ENJOY it
