Got over a month of food, and cash for a plane ticket if needed. I suggest everyone invest in some bottled water especially if you're in a city/suburb.

Amen to that Mr. Shinra :P

I lived off of well water most of my life, but alas.

a plane ticket to where? If you arent already in a rural area, too late, GG

To a rural area with family. My airport isn't far. I literally just moved, so I need to make a heavy decision about if I want to move AGAIN soon. It's not fun. My industry is in cities, but all the work has been remote, so I am seriously considering it again.

Let’s get some kimchi or sauerkraut going for fresh veggies.

Yeah, beans are great. So is rice. Anything with a nice long shelf life, like canned goods. Boxed milk if you want, that tends to last a while too. Soup bases and stocks can sit for a while as well.

Ramen isn’t ideal but it’s filling and easy to prepare (or eat raw) without power.

Whatever space you would use for ramen would be better used for rice.

Got lots of that too. Been scouring prepper blogs for months and I feel comfortable. Got a huge haul before the LTS places sold out.

A five gallon bucket will hold 20 lb of rice, 10 lb of beans, seasonings, and a little room left over for some kind of morale treat.

My pur sink filter always does a good job giving me clean water. Great purchase, lasts months per filter.

Plane ticket? To run away? Or to move closer?

To get the hell out of my city and to a rural area where I have family.
