Local election offices have security and detection measures in place that make it highly difficult to commit fraud through counterfeit ballots. While the specific measures vary, in accordance with state and local election laws and practices, ballot security measures can include signature matching, information checks, barcodes, watermarks, and precise paper weights.
I'm not trying to tell anyone watermarks are bullshit, I am fully aware that they are actual safeguards. I am referring to the "sting operation" story that has been getting passed around.
I mention this because it seems like the story infers that the DHS printed the ballots themselves, which just isn't true. It also mentions the President wasn't made aware of this sting, which would be very strange.
Just an FYI, Pedes, I've deleted my own post that was the whole "watermark" thing. Much as I would've loved for that to be the case, it was unfortunately way too good to be true and possibly an attempt from the Left to distract us from the REAL root of the steal. Not only that, the CISA itself has confirmed it's not real, and the alleged "verified letter" even states that the POTUS wasn't informed about it.
