Wow, I wish I could say that was me, but no, this might be real. I guess that's what happens when you watch the news but never go outside into the real world. Unbelievable that some people can be this disconnected from reality. I mean, we literally went through four years of Trump without gulags and death camps for gays and minorities, but these people still think it'll happen any day now.

It's also hilarious that the media that have turned them against Trump are now making them believe that the "nightmare" is over, setting them up for a brutal awakening when Trump eventually wins in court. His second term will be glorious.

I don’t have social media, and I am staying away from major news networks. Right now I’m relying on .win for my information. I really can’t stand listening to what they have to say or listen to them call Biden their president.

18
sorossockpuppet2 18 points ago +18 / -0

I am doing the exact same thing. I reject what they have to say, its surreal yet I'm cool as a cucumber. .win is the only news site I need or want right now - and honestly probably for the foreseeable future. It's a mixture of annoyance, and cringe with a pinch of pity for these people celebrating. They want to win SO fucking bad, they've been losing for four years and at the first hint of some convoluted win they go apeshit. I can't wait until its exposed to the masses

8

I listen to the MSM because I need to know where our enemies are at logistically. I know that if they say one thing that means the opposite is the truth. This has never proved me wrong.

What is happening right now is one of the biggest psyops in American history, perpetrated against American citizens. People should be fucking livid. That is a reason to riot.

1
oyvey90 1 point ago +3 / -2

He's based, but he's not a 100% maga, he's a libertarian maybe even nat soc to a degree I sometimes feel. I understand him as I'm libertarian/classical liberal maybe as well. Even tho we'll never see it come to fruition in this society. Like me I don't think he gives a fuck about capitalism or democracy he cares about our people, culture, and society. I am not a traditional republican either - I have no interest in seeing the rich get richer for example. I am interested in personal liberty - which the republican party has taken up the torch for in recent years.

Try to remember before Trump, there were millions of us fighting the good fight for the same ideals he is. It didn't come out of nowhere. For example some of the people around you in your community etc are the reason you don't live with an assault weapons ban and limited to 10 rounds or less nationwide. Without all the millions of people pushing individually it would have been extended in 2004. If your state doesn't have an awb it's because local groups fought for a long time to keep those and other rights.

I guess the reason I'm saying this, and I dont' fully know why my mind went here right now, is this has been a fight that -we the people- have been having to fight for a long time. People forget that. In the time before Trump we had no mega celebrities or good figureheads so we had to fight ourselves if we wanted to see what's right come to fruition. Now everyone new to the movement is pretty much putting all that fighting and effort 100% on Trumps shoulders. Because he's tough, smart, lucky, and usually sucessfull. Make no mistake pedes no man can fight this system alone, even Trump.

Our people are largely a brainwashed herd, Trump HAS to do something big before people fully internalize Biden as our next president. When he does, no matter how extreme it seems on the surface -you've got to support him and it may not be so easy to do. It may take more than making a few memes in photoshop. There may in fact be no internet at all when it goes down.

Deployed to Iraq as an infantryman (Army). Joined the military when the Soviet Union still existed (Navy). When I was in the Navy, we received feed on the state of the Soviet, later Russian, military. I've watched videos of the Russians in the field this century.

The Russians are not ready for a peer to peer war. In fact, from what I've known about them for decades, they're in much worse shape than we are. We're talking NCO's needing to read instructions on how to operate a hand grenade. They don't have the experience and leadership that we have. What their officers do, many of our junior enlisted could do. We have a strong NCO corps, unless that has changed since I retired.

If we kill their officers, their NCOs would not be as capable as American NCOs with regards to taking command and maneuvering an element to keep the fight going. Our officers drop, we'd be able to continue the fight.

Chechnya was their Iraq/Afghanistan, it's closer to where their military is home based, and it took longer for them to accomplish things there than it did Iraq and Afghanistan. The Russians are no match for us based on what I've seen.

I'm not advocating that we go to Syria either, we need to focus on working with our allies in the Indo Pacific region to act as a counterbalance to the CCP and their antics in that region. This is something that President Trump is pushing.

6
FormerGraveheart 6 points ago +6 / -0

They're also not our enemies. There should be no war in Syria.

1
thebesig 1 point ago +1 / -0

If you're talking about Russia, they are our adversaries. Neither Russia nor China are friends. Both have nuclear weapons pointed towards the United States, and both have held joint exercises in training that presumes that the United States is one of the enemy.

The terrorists fighting in Syria are our enemies. The current Syrian government is no friend of the United States either. As I mentioned above, I'm not advocating going to war with Syria.

1
deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
2
thebesig 2 points ago +2 / -0

As LostVikings1985 said, you're mostly right.

To break things down further... Lieutenants, captains, majors, etc., are commissioned officers. They're the officers as most people understand would be a military officer. The platoon leader is usually a lieutenant, a company commander is usually a captain. The platoon would have a platoon sergeant, usually a sergeant first class. For the company, that wold be the first sergeant. Everybody else down the line is enlisted.

1
LostViking1985 1 point ago +1 / -0

You're mostly right, but lieutenant is an officer. NCOs are mostly sergeants.

1
oyvey90 1 point ago +2 / -1

Yeah well when was the last time you saw the number of nuclear icbms they have? Why go down this path when we don't need to be enemies anymore.

No more brother wars.

1
thebesig 1 point ago +1 / -0

Where, in my post, did I advocate going to war with either Russia or Syria?

We have them on quality and accuracy. I've been a news junkie since 1982, I've been following their nuclear capability since the 1980s. One of the reasons that Putin is freaking out over our missile defense systems is that he suspects that later versions would be able to strike deep into Russian territory... Eventually making their nuclear arsenal obsolete.

Based on my own military experience, and what I've seen with the Russians, we would pulverize them in the air, at sea, and on land. Their defense posture is set up for a defensive war.

Also, if you read further down my post, you'd notice that I was not advocating a war with Syria.

I'm convinced Trump's only play may be to declare marshall law, seize all the ballots and seize any evidence possible. Offer rewards for whistleblowers etc. Seize the streets and do not allow rioting. You form a riot you get arrested, resist arrest and you get shot. Burn/loot/murder, destroy property -shot. Seize the streets until a fair case can be heard in court to prove fraud.

I'd literally take a dictatorship that's benevolent than a communist authoritarian mob of violent twisted brainwashed degenerates.

Trump should have held up all legislation until the following were achieved:

-100% voter integrity and verification of citizenship / verification of ballot processing -End of birthright citizenship and immigration as we know it

Anything short of this is almost meaningless. Because of these problems they'll eventually gain permanent power and control of our country and undo everything good Trump or any other president/congress has done.

3
oyvey90 3 points ago +4 / -1

Deep down, ever since I heard about the mail in ballots being mailed to people without them even needing to request them I knew this was going to happen. I was secretly hoping we'd be able to override the amount of brainwashed fools and false ballots.

To be honest, and this isn't the first time I've said this, democracy is doomed. In the modern day, it's actually just not a viable form of government anymore. There are too many deranged people in our society. It also creates incentive for politicians to make promises in order to gain power. Social media is literally a form of mass brainwashing and building a false world -false perception in your mind.

4

Honestly if I had to vote in 2000 I probably would have voted for Gore but voted republican for house and senate. I think Gore would have baulked at a war in Iraq and probably would have waged a more narrow scoped war after 9/11 and not been quite as outrageous as some of the agenda pushed by Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld. The republicans wouldn't have let him get away with his climate change agenda and the assault weapons ban probably would have expired. Not much would have got done.

He would have probably gone against McCain in 2004 - maybe he would have lost. Problem is my guess is Hillary would have won in 2012.

bush didnt have the media array against him to the extent trump does, not to mention tech companies

Yes, but Bush isn’t half the man that Trump is.

Correction: Some members of the Supreme Court don't give a fuck about media, only about the law and the constitution.

Kagan, Sotermeyer, and Roberts wipe their asses with the constitution.

The Supreme Court doesn’t give a fuck about media

I'm pretty sure this is the only thing that Roberts cares about

pelosis_liver 7 points ago +7 / -0

That election was when I learned that to a lot of people we don’t just disagree on issues, you are either on the side of good or the side of evil. It was a bit shocking because I always figured that both parties were pretty much the same.

1
Magabeliever 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bush had the media for him. I swear, back then in 2000, CNN was called "conservative news network" for how much they lapped up the WMD and Iraq war, and Fox was called "liberal" because they challenged the main-media just a smidgen.

It's hilarious how similar the map is isn't it? Like the Dems have some form of entrenched electoral fraud system that has been going on for decades.

Ah yes, back when Virginia, Colorado, and New Hampshire weren't a democrat lock and Arizona/Nevada were reliably red. Good times. Make's you wonder how an electoral college map will look in 2040. Scarey.

6
Law596 6 points ago +6 / -0

If nothing is done about this fraud it might be fully red by then, communist red.

3
ShiterallyLaking 3 points ago +3 / -0

There won't be an electoral college by 2040; especially not after this election if the left gets their way.

Ask president Gore how his presidency went. Oh wait, it never occurred. Is it tempt to steal Florida fell short. He would have been about 15,000 votes short. that taught them that they need to raise the scale period the reason this didn't happen in 2016 was because Florida took too long to be answered, so they didn't know their asses were getting kicked period here they figured out right away, turned on their plan, and stole the election in front of the eyes of the United States of america.

1
EndHumanTrafficking2 1 point ago +1 / -0

Florida took too long to be answered

I think you've raised a very underrated point there. If Florida had taken longer to call, they wouldn't have known how many states they needed to steal until it was too late.

2
bluedevilga 2 points ago +2 / -0

Which is what happened in 2016

I'm a retard who doesn't understand anything about politics beyond the bare basics.

Can someone explain the entire 2000 election to me like I'm a toddler? Can paraphrase or summarize it if you need to.

7
Knight1_of_Sunset 7 points ago +7 / -0

In the state of Florida, there is a very close tie in the votes (like the difference being less than 600 votes our of over 6 million) and it was enough to get a recount started. That newspaper was printed declaring Gore the victor despite there was a recount and a lawsuit (made to the SCOTUS no less) taking place.

Fast forward to December, the SCOTUS ultimately decided to stop the recount and it resulted in the votes going to Bush, making bush the victor.

MSM goons everywhere look mighty foolish afterward.

Hanging chads they used punch cards in Florida and alot of them the chad never fully came off of the ballot and they had to hand recount them and in December the SCOTUS said it was unconstitutional to recount them and gave the election to Bush.

4
Daemoness 4 points ago +4 / -0

I seem to recall Gore wanted to recount only the counties he knew he had the strongest showing in, while Florida election law said the entire state would have to be recounted...But that's from memory, so...

1
Servine 1 point ago +1 / -0

Florida recount at the time allowed for Gore to request in only some counties, which is what the Supreme Court struck down.

This brings back memories. My husband and I were on our honeymoon when that went down. At one point, we went to a Jewish Deli in Ft. Lauderdale and I was ranting about how fucking stupid people were if they couldn't vote right--he begged me to shut up because we were surrounded by elderly people glaring at us. I told him we could take them... they never messed with us, just glared, lol.

6
Chancehappeneth 6 points ago +6 / -0

I went on my honeymoon in Nov '00. We watched the news abroad and still didn't know who was elected when we got back.

This is the same situation, as far as media coverage goes.

The process of affirming Trump's win will take time as lawsuits, recounts, and court orders are enacted.

In the meantime, be happy. Being happy is the best "revenge."

Being reminded of this has really boosted my optimism, so thank you for posting. I was 20 and in college when Bush/Gore happened, and it seemed so much more low-key back then. Simpler times I guess. Having 24-7 media really affects the psychological landscape.

3
GeneralVeers 3 points ago +3 / -0

Back then, my co-workers and I were actually able to argue about that election with nobody throwing punches or setting anything on fire. Citizens from opposing parties had some decency towards each other back then. However, I think that was about the time things started to deteriorate, and the relationship between the Two Parties began to rot into raw, smoldering hatred.

(with most of the hate being from liberals)
