I've spent more than 35 years learning to code, starting with a goddamned VIC-20 without even a cassette drive and I still have issues daily.

You don't just take six months of classes and learn a goddamned thing you dismissive liberal fuck!

And then compete for a few jobs against, as he puts it, "millions" of other former retail workers, fucking looool.

Yes, exactly. And it's not a job every random person is suited for. This idea that "everyone" can code was idiotic when Obama said, it was idiotic when Tim Cook said it, and it's still idiotic when Rahm Emmanuel says it.

And even if you could you wouldn’t stand a chance against all the h1bs and the Indians in HR that don’t want to hire anyone that isn’t Indian.

"Computer coder"

This guy has 0 understanding of how saturated the computer science applicant pool is, and how high the barrier of entry is. Zero empathy like most of the left.

Yeah and the Trump admin is fixing that. That alone would make job hunting so much easier for me personally.

Biden will be opening the floodgates for his Bay Area supporters who contributed censorship and pretend fact checks.

It's easy to say 'Get a different job' when you work in a field where you can fellate your way to the top, like he did.

That depends. Software engineering has been so glamorized it is insanely saturated. Meanwhile, the infrastructure side (where I work), your roles like network admins, sysadmins, etc. are still in pretty high demand. Some of the fresh college grad coders at my company got a huge shock when they figured out the network admins and sysadmins (most of whom don't have degrees) make a shitload more than they do for the simple reason we're harder to replace.

Lmao so you’re gonna get hired to be a programmer within 6 months of losing your job at JC Penny. Let me know who is hiring them so I can short their stock.

Will this result in a ban from Twitter? Isn't that unfair business practice?

6 months? This guy knows nothing about β€˜coding’...why not 6 months to be an Accountant? Lawyer? Carpenter? Plumber? What fucking profession can you learn in 6 months?

7
Mexicola1976 7 points ago +7 / -0

How about if I learn to be a crack shot like Lee Harvey Oswald?

5
85Dacudo 5 points ago +5 / -0

Six months to be a programmer ? For millions of people most of which likely have no background in programming ?

My God....people actually voted for this....

Twitter should ban him for using such an abhorrent # like that

3
wernerziegler 3 points ago +3 / -0
