My wife and I lost many of these "friends" back in 2016. I'm racist (as are we all in their eyes), but I am interracially married; She became anti-woman after she said to the woman's march (in DC I believe) to clean up after themselves; she's anti-hispanic because she doesn't vote leftie; we're anti-immigrant even though she's a legal (and pro American values) immigrant.
Those people are just NPCs npcing around. To a degree they need to be ignored and dismissed. These are the types of people that I with agree with when they get to the ad hominem state (which they ultimately do) just to piss them off more.

Yep, I'm very careful and selective what I put there. I'm clear that they don't have the background of knowledge that we do. I try to just leave breadcrumbs for them. Also, there are the others that are like minded, and I think it helps for them to see some other like minded peeps. I've even had a few people DM me to say that they like what I post, but that they just don't discuss politics on FB.
All that being said, I'm very selective and tame about what I post there. AND, I spend less and less time there. It's a cesspool.
I got friends on FB posting "there is no evidence of fraud" and I believe the election of fair. Sure, if you visit every major MSM... that's the 3 headlines: 1) Biden is so close to winning 2) There evidence of fraud, and 3) All (including illegal) votes must count. I have some smart friends but the propaganda is so strong. Like seriously, how can you prove something that doesn't exist -- that's impossible.
I thought about posting hard evidences like the 139K votes, 18K actual dead votes. But they will deny and deny, and make excuses. So I decided to stay silence. I probably will have to do some soul searching on either way how the election comes out. I believe Trump will prevail.
