She's not a activist judge. If there is clear violation of the law she will vote accordingly. She will also vote to uphold the constitution of there is a violation of it. That's why Trump picked her.
AJ is right sometimes but he's not always right and you shouldn't take his word as gospel (I'm from Texas and have listened to him for 12 years now).
Very true. But also remember the "will she recuse herself" statements you started to hear during her nomination? There was a lot of talk about how if the election was contested would ACB recuse herself from the case. I feel like this very well might happen, because if not outright backstabbing Trump, that she wants to APPEAR fair. Recuses herself, and the rest of the court just decides against him. Maybe one or two justices dissenting to look good. I don't want this to happen, but it's my thoughts. I'm losing faith by the minute because the fraud is SO OBVIOUS and yet nothing is happening.
Because Republicans want to be seen as fair, impartial, and liked. Democrats just want to win. That's why Democrats play dirty and Republicans play fair (for the most part) and also why the people fighting dirty have continually had advantage over the people playing fair.
Don't want to accuse you falsely of anything but please don't doom and stand strong. Trump's campaign already released a statement that they were going to start official legal action on Monday.
As for the ACB with recusal, it's always possible but I think If it's a supreme court case involving the integrity of our election process, I don't see how she sits it out unless she's an outright swamp rat (in which case Trump deserves to lose since he picked her). However I don't see it happening. The only reason she sat out the pennsylvania count case was because it fell too close after her confirmation and didn't have time to review the case.
I am trying to. It's just difficult. I know a lot of Trump supporters and all of them have given up so it's hard to say otherwise even though I believe he still has a chance. I guess what concerns me the most is that the fraud is quite obvious to me so the fact that the American political system could even allow this to happen at all is severely disappointing to me. I knew things were bad, but not this bad.
I just learned that it's entirely possible for state legislatures to vote on impaneling an alternative slate of electors in the electoral college so hopefully if SCOTUS doesn't help us, then at least republicans in states like Georgia and Arizona etc would see the farce for what it is, and go this route.

If Ginsburg and Kagan could conduct gay weddings and then not recuse themselves from Obergefell then why the hell should Barrett?
