The establishment media's narrative is that the spike in overnight votes was simply due to the large number of absentee ballots that were cast, that the spikes were just further reporting, and that this isn't evidence of fraud. How do we counter this?
Example from a Wisconsin NBC station:
President Trump held a roughly 100,000 vote lead late Tuesday night. However, in Wisconsin’s largest county, election workers finished counting 169,519 absentee ballots between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. Absentee votes are believed to heavily support the Democrats and it proved true in Wisconsin, as Biden gained a lead in Wisconsin by roughly 20,000 votes, with NBC News projecting the Badger State for Biden.
Another example from a DC CBS station:
To find out what caused this shift, the team reached out to two elections experts, Gary Nordlinger, a politics professor at The George Washington University and David Becker, the Executive Director at the Center For Election Innovation and Research.
Both experts confirmed that this was not indicative of voter fraud.
The vote totals shifted simply because there were more votes to count. When most of us went to sleep on Election Night, there were still hundreds-of-thousands of votes not yet counted, including many absentee ballots, which favored Former Vice President Biden.
"This has been an unprecedented election for early voting this year," said Nordlinger. "So you still (had) hundreds-of-thousands, if not over a million ballots to count. The difference between when we went to bed and woke up this morning was further reporting of results."
We need to get in front of this narrative now. This will become the repetitive mantra until people get sick of the whole discussion and their minds become occupied with the frivolity of day-to-day living. What is the best rebuttal to this? Messaging is super important and I don't think pointing out a spike in votes will persuade the persuadable population.
Replace "absentee" with "mail in" and wham bam Afghanistan
That's a great point. How many of these big vote dumps came from legitimate solicited absentee ballots and how many came from mail-in ballots?
The media's equivocation of "absentee" and "mail-in" is so disingenuous and misleading. It's akin to how the media talks about "immigrants" and fails to distinguish between "legal" and "illegal" immigrants.
Such a fine line between the two and they're taking advantage of it. SnoPes fAcT cHeCk: TECHNICALLY TRUE
They're definitely completely different concepts. There are safeguards when you request a ballot. You have to verify your identity, voter registration address, etc. When ballots are mass mailed, it's a recipe for fraud. I think we just need to prove it. A deep pocket conservative needs to offer a reward for a whistleblower so someone comes forward.
First is that the tranche of votes that dropped went 100% to Biden, and the real-time tabulations of votes revealed as much. There is no massaging the data of those late-night dumps.
Secondly, I'd be interested to see 1) what percent of existing mail-in/absentee ballots cast and tabulated before the polls closed went to Biden and what the split was for him the next day. This should be very easy to figure out.
Third: what was the split in those counties for D-R in 2016/2018, compared to 2020?
Fourth: what is the overall voter turnout, and is it disproportionately high in those counties compared to neighboring ones?
Fifth: Why are the people on the ground stating they witnessed three cars pulling up with boxes and wagons, and entering the voting rooms with no formal checks or security? Why are witnesses stating they were getting cheered when ejected from the tab room despite their legal ability to be there to observe the counts? Why are witnesses saying that when they contested a ballot, it was not set aside per law?
Not all states count ballots the same way, so identify the problem states and check if they came in when they are supposed to. Also that mathematical formula people have been posting that represents what a normal distribution of votes looks like, I'm blanking on the name but it's a good rebuttal. And I would say to people, REMEMBER they kicked Bernie out of the election in 2016...who's to say they aren't stealing 3rd party votes then?
And if you really want a quick soundbite, just say, "yeah, and Clinton totally won California in the 2016 primaries. No voter fraud and statistical anomalies there either, right?"
for one, there were plenty of republicans requesting mail in ballots as well.
Yeah, I voted absentee so count me as one.
The location of the absentee ballots makes a big difference. If the absentee ballots all came from some inner city, I can actually see 99% of the votes going for Biden (not 100%, but these places can be unbelievably brainwashed -- it continues to blow my mind).
Even in San Francisco you're still going to get 15 to 20 percent Republican votes.
With respect to the first example, why did it take so long for for them to count the "absentee" ballots? They are required to be received by 8:00 PM that day, period. There were 440,247 total votes in Milwaukee County in 2016. I presume the number was roughly the same this year. Even if you assume a much larger turnout this year (which I don't believe), those 169,519 absentee ballots would represent a HUGE percent of the total vote, therefore they obviously had been received over a period of WEEKS and not that day. To believe those votes were not already counted before election day is moronic. So your best counter to that argument is that most of those absentee ballots would have already been counted. Most absentee or mail-in votes should have already been counted as most of them were sent in early.
They're saying that the ballots weren't counted yet. There's no way to disprove that unless you have insider knowledge but I hope someone is checking into this. If in fact the ballots were received late, they should be disqualified.
Maybe it’s true? As much I don’t wanna believe it. The excuse makes sense but their voter turnout and more votes than registered voters makes it really suspect.
Their counter to turnout being higher than registration is same-day registration (although these should skew Trump in man jurisdictions, so the data should bear that out).
