I get that glitches happen, but it is NOT appropriate to just call something a glitch and not have a proper explanation for it for what was done wrong and why it happened.
Even with proprietary software, we should be demanding at LEAST a change log showing what issues had occurred and what was done to fix them. THAT is what you do when you are being transparent to your customers on your product, especially in cases where it is hard to discern trust in the results that you were given previously.
