I believe Trump has a plan. You know the idea that he's four steps ahead of his enemies and so on. My question is when has Trump been wrong? This isn't meant to demoralize or divide, but to genuinely know so that im not caught off guard if someone brings it up.

Hes suggested some weird, freaky, messed up shit and I don't really think he's been wrong yet.

Fair enough. But nothing thats been an absolute disaster, say like Bay of Pigs, War on Drugs, etc.

My big criticism of Trump, which some would view as the reason they like him, is his inability to sell his actual policy. If you look at the second debate, he was calm, cool, and reserved, it definitely helped his poll numbers.

It's not the diehard pedes were trying to win over, it's the groups that may be open to our message. Trump's message on the Platinum Plan would have been amazing to have had four months ago or whenever Ice Cube announced it.

I could see that. I guess my view of Trump has always been actions speak louder than words.

I agree, however I dont think that's necessarily his fault. He also shitcanned people if they didn't do their job well. I was looking more for policy shortcomings.

I can’t think of any policy shortcomings. Even on covid I’d give him a 10 policy, but a 0 on how he handled the PR. Doing those daily press beatings, with the benefit of hindsight, did not help.

He's had massive successes in his first term, but people will always glob onto failures and shortcomings.

The dumbest shit he ever uttered was -"And, one day it will just disappear, like a miracle". To be clear, I feel he made good decisions and that if Hillary had been in office, the COVID issue would likely have been less well managed. I do think he should have skipped the fairy tale prediction though.

Yes, half my family is in the medical field with half of those being RNs. I get updates about our local conditions all the time as far as approximate patient loads and numbers of COVID positive. We are way out in the eastern farmlands of Indiana and so we have very good conditions for the prevention of spread. If we get a spike here it invariably reflects on a larger trend. The virus is real and it is beginning to spread again as we move towards winter. It's much less dangerous that initially feared and less dangerous now than it was 6 months ago over all but it can still pose issues for some people.
