We need 2 (5 U.S.C. 6103) holidays, the first Monday and Tuesday of November every year where most of the country is off and can go and vote IN PERSON ONLY with ID.
Absentee in incredibly rare cases such as our Military, traveling for work, severe injury/illness. They're required to be in by poll closing time. No exceptions. Otherwise you get your ass to a polling place if you want to vote. Open more locations if you have to. It's only 2 days out of the year. We can manage that. No monthlong early voting anymore.
The polls are immediately closed at 7 or 8pm Tuesday depending on your state, and the results are immediately reported. We should know within minutes who won a state, not 4-10 days later. This is the year of our Lord, 20 fucking 20. We have the technology. As a backup, every vote is hand counted before certification. This system should be so secure and failsafed that any hint of fuckery of more than 0.25% triggers a complete audit.
Every year on December 31st, voter registration rolls are purged and you have to re-register for the next year's elections. You have the entire month of January to re-register, then they're locked. If you move later in the year, you bring your old voter card where it's destroyed, and a new one issued. No more democrats yelling about bigotry-of-low-expectations for minorities. Everyone gets a free government voter ID. They can be made for pennies each and can be secured.
20 year mandatory minimum sentence in federal prison, $1M fine, loss of US citizenship upon release for anyone who commits voter fraud. One count of fraud per ballot, sentence must be served consecutively, not concurrently. You fuck with our elections, and there's a good chance you don't see the free light of day ever again.
No more sending ballots to everyone on the voter rolls. No more bullshit 170 year olds voting. No more counting until you "find" enough votes to flip. No media speculation about who won the state. No media cucks calling or refusing to call a state.
