I have little confidence in the SCOTUS to do the right thing here. If they do, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
Honestly, I'd rather the state legislatures determine their states had fraudulent elections and choose the best path forward before it gets to SCOTUS to deal with.
Depends. If the FEC looks and sees that a state has violated a SCOTUS order (like PA for example), they could decertify the vote since it would be tainted with fraudulent votes with no means of separating the legal ones from it.
That would give the state legislation the means to appoint electors. SCOTUS would be ruling on that and if they side with the Dems the would basically would have to de-legitimize their own authority and the state legislation's constitutional authority, which I doubt they would do.
Look up the current FEC members. I'm not too hopeful of them being of any use.

I just checked and the state of Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Michigan all have republican controlled legislatures and senate.
Today these states all passed laws that now say winner of the vote in the state selects the electors. If the process breaks down in court, the Senate and House in each state can vote on the electors…
Seems the Constitution says “Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress …”

The SCOTUS may not be our saving grace, but if we can at least prove that the outcome was caused by fraud, it gives the electors from the swing states the freedom to vote for Trump. They mostly have Republican-majority legislatures.

The Supreme Court in the past has run into this type of stuff and the result of the state sending two sets of delegates to the college was sorted out by a decision to negate the state representation all together. All 5 of the states in question have Republican senate and legislatures. If electoral process fails as the law prescribes, the state representatives can select them as well.
