I don't believe this has been some grand conspiracy, rather the amount of variables that could go wrong at any level. Humans can justify rash actions, computers can be cracked.
At minimum, we have to fix this for the next election. The gov had the watermark ballot technology ready to go, but it was an opt-in program.
