Reminder: if electors aren't chosen before December 14th Trump will win the election in the house of representatives
LANDSLIDE 2020
Once the lawsuit drops expect to see far more cooperation from democrats. If the lawsuits aren't resolved in time Trump wins.
Biden's chance of becoming president is on a time bomb. Trump can win by just slow walking the legal process.
The contested states all have Republican senates. They won't certify the results if the lawsuit is still ongoing.
I guess you could say Trump has a trump card up his sleeve
Uh... Democrats control the house...
When they say "house" its based on state majority. There will only be 50 votes casts. If I am not mistaken Republicans have the majority of house members in 28/50 states.
IIRC, each state gets one vote in the House, in this circumstance, not 1 vote per congress member.
However, as they are currently 'called' (kek), we have 25 states, they have 25 states plus District of Columbia, so 26. Although some of the 'blue' states currently called have more R congress members that will switch the state for Trump, I'm not sure about the makeup of each states legislature.
They don't have 25 states.
We are up 27 to 23.
Are you counting PA, GA, or AZ? Maybe I miscounted, but I didn't include those.
That's not germane in this instance. Unlike passing legislation, each state gets one vote in the House.
