I was looking into this! I want to say, being a conservative is definitely a minority in california. Since a lot of immigrants move into california, they take a lot of their values with them, usually being more conservative and anti-communist but the younger generation about 18~25 every single one of them on social media are openly left declaring themselves as the only people that care about others and trump supporters are just racists. I'm looking for jobs right now so I'm super cautious about what I say and post.
