I'm a 34 year old Canadian. I've always loved news since I was a kid. I spend hours every day reading, watching and listening to news. Trump captivated me. We all know whats happened. I'm not looking for any kind of response. I just need to say something because I'm depressed. To pay attention to news so much and see exactly what is happening and to have so many people with no interest who don't care...who fall into a trap and be used as pawns... My world view seriously feels hopeless when people with power are able to do what I'm seeing.
Anti Trump sentiment is high in Canada. Our news media is funded by our government. $1.3 BILLION tax payer dollars given as a bailout to the CBC by our princess of a PM Justin Trudeau. Its a joke. You Americans don't know how lucky you are to not have a news company funded directly by the government. That's a whole other story.
Wanna know whats even worse? Only 3% of Canadians watch the CBC. But yet Trudeau bails them outs and funds them. 1.3 BILLION. I fuckin hate Trudeau. I fuckin hate my country. I'd give anything to be an American. I love your country. As fucked up as things are I hope you all know how lucky you are to live in your country. Messed up for me to say about my own citizenship but it's true. For years even before Trump I've never been shy to say it.

When I talk to Anti Trumpers up here I always go to when Trump made international news for mocking a disabled reporter. I tell people how it started and what happened. People are stunned. Most don't believe me so I need to show them proof. To most people they don't understand. It makes no sense to them that news would be lying. Especially in Canada. Moreso especially older people who grew up with honest reporting. So many people are manipulated, lied to and used as pawns. They have no idea. Many also don't care and they are happy to go along with it.
Yeah Trump should shut his mouth sometimes. Yeah Trump lies sometimes. But when compared to other politicians you know for a fact exactly who and what he is. When Trudeau talked shit behind his back it was embarrassing. A disgrace for all Canadians yet so many cheered. But when you look at what Trump has done for your country It's amazing. He's doing things for the people. He cares about the people. It's so rare for a politician...It's hard to describe how it makes me feel. It's like everything is meaningless and hopeless. Nobody cares about facts and reality. They just follow along and ignore what is actually important. What kind of world is this. People who lean left fall for all of it and they don't care...
I don't know. Seeing what is happening with this vote something is up. Looking in from the outside a lot of it doesn't make sense. The main problem is all of the lies and manipulation. Low info voters being turned into pawns for people who care more about power and benefiting themselves. They don't care about the people. They are fake and only want to benefit themselves. Trump has lost so much in his effort to make your country an amazing place. He lost money. He lost love. He lost respect. He threw all of it out the window in the hopes of making peoples lives better. Too few people see it. Too many people are blinded by insanity and spit in his face even though its very obvious he loves his country and he loves the people.
I really hope he fights. It's going to kill me if he comes out and says thats it. There are obvious problems with voting that does not make sense. There are obviously people counting votes who took it upon themselves to do what they can to alter votes. That is the game and that is what he is up against. For the future of elections. For the future of your country. He needs to take a strong stand. And people need to stand behind him to dig deep and make sure everything is on the up and up. It needs to happen. We all know shady shit was happening...
I just had to say something for my mental sanity. It's not right what the media is doing in your country. Greedy power hungry people who care only about enriching themselves at the expense of the people...I seriously believe this world is fucked. That there is no saving it from those with greed and those they manipulate to get what they want...people need to open their eyes and actually care. Not just listen and react like stupid fuckin assholes...
I love my friends to the south. You have an amazing country I am jealous of. But bad people are doing selfish things...Fuckin hopeless. I can't even say anything. Just know there are people around the world who see it for what it is and actually care. I hope things work out. Trump started something amazing and I hope long after he is gone it carries forward. Government for the people by the people. How it needs to be and how it should always be. Especially in the USA.

Listen man, from another 30 year old Canadian, be happy that Trump exists and that all this bs is being exposed. This side of things is an extremely difficult and gruelling side. Most people you come across, even your own family, have no idea what’s really going on unless the MSM tells them. I’ve been saying for a few months that everyone who said the MSM is dead and a dinosaur is completely wrong...look what happened today. They announced Joe Biden as the President Elect and most people I know, who I haven’t been able to open their eyes, go with it. I have a few people close to me who I haven’t changed to our side, and that’s okay with me, because I’ve noticed a huge change in their perception of what’s really happening...they’re even having minor conflicts with their friends and family. The truth is us and where we are. And another truth is they can’t see it because, and it’s sad for me to say because in many instances this applies to my own friends and family, they didn’t see it on “the news” and if I try to explain a different perspective to them...and believe me I try my best to do it as understanding as possible...they start to act and say they don’t care THAT much. I can see that’s it’s world changing for them and they can’t handle it so they resort back to what’s familiar and comfortable for them.
So weird. Nothing in this world makes sense. It's like rationale and common sense don't exist for some people. I can understand people who just don't care, have no opinion and want to live life without any of it. I know them and that's fine. But the people who have an opinion who just refuse to use facts and reality like they are on some other planet is just...you know...wrecks my brain and understanding of everything.
