In my house, we've mostly gone back to watching old movies and shows and it's a great experience to enjoy watching something with no politics and isn't dumbed down for China! The other upside is that you will save a lot of money this way. We always go to video store sales and browse the $1 movies when we shop at the dollar store, because there's a mix of pretty decent old stuff, indie stuff, and ones that are so cheesy that it's just fun to watch.
