SNOPES - mostly true, James Madison was actually the founder of The NY Times

SaginawSausage 63 points ago +63 / -0

Here’s why. Here’s why that matters. Here’s why that’s bad. Here’s why that’s a problem. Here’s how we spoon feed you the next narrative that you need to adopt or be castigated by those around you.

How can anyone look at a headline like this and not be nauseated?

13
AlphaOverBeta 13 points ago +13 / -0

This is how instructions are fed to the NPC.

the almighty and all powerful press is mentioned briefly in the 1st amendment. not sure where they draw all this extra power from. all it says is they can say stupid shit, which they do. abundantly.

13
WhitePowerRanger 13 points ago +13 / -0

They should check out the section on treason where it outlines the stupid prizes they can win

6
obamagavemeaphone 6 points ago +6 / -0

Most of the stupid prizes are made of lead and rope....

Where's President Dewey? President Gore?

Yes the almighty media has the role of designating election winners... NOT!

7
JustSayIt 7 points ago +7 / -0

There was a "glitch" and some of the new amendments were given to North Africa.

Honestly it's sad people don't know anything about the most important document in this nation's history. I've had to explain to relatives the msm does not and never had any authority over political recourse in this country.

21
Law596 21 points ago +21 / -0

Yeah, seems a lot more important than critical race theory and such total bs.

43
The_Yoyo 43 points ago +43 / -0

They sent out a "retraction" tweet but you know how the saying goes -- A lie goes around the world twice while the truth is putting its pants on

28
muslimporn 28 points ago +28 / -0

I often wish sometimes there were actual consequences for things like this.

Their statement that they choose the president is basically a coup, they're saying they're the top authority, the highest office in the USA.

It's not an idle statement because their audience means they can have effect just as much as a commander of an army can have an effect which could be sufficient to override the authority of the nation.

It would demand an immediate military invasion and capture or destruction of the news "networks" or at least this one.

Lol they later deleted this tweet and retracted the statement.

I saw this article and thought it was very odd before election. Now we know the plan. Its incredible what we are seeing.

15

13

The retracted this tweet same day and put out a corrected form that the press only reports, they do not declare winners.

The "caudacity" of these liberal elites.

6
ca18det 6 points ago +6 / -0

NYT is flirting with real danger here. Enemy of the people is not just an expression when it comes to all the sedition they've perpetuated, the coup they assisted, and now the Pravda "we media dictate reality" proclamations.

5

Wtf??

They actually tweeted this?

5

DO NOT QUESTION

5
impera 5 points ago +5 / -0

Member when Dick Cheney was all, 'I'm the 4th branch of government!' Because he was saying all the rules that applied to the presidency/executive, to the congress or to the supremes did not apply to him? Because he just wanted to destroy all those pesky records that by law he had to keep around, for totally legit reasons I'm certain! Certainly nothing at all suspicious about destroying war/invasion rationale and evidence that went on to be used to justify massive military spending, the iraq war, and subsequent many deaths and maimings of US troops as well as iraqis?

Well the meme has now been recast as the media apparently, a special authority to decide election outcomes, irrespective of evidence, votes, courts, constitution, or anything else. While an abomination, at least Cheney was elected.. which makes the fake news media a couple of ticks further down.. an even fouler circle of hell than him.

You have to be a real sub 70 IQ moron to take the New York times seriously, and even lower IQ to work there. They have no idea how elections work and I find it hilarious.

3

Someone forward them the law showing it's not true, and then watch Twatter fact check it and call it wrong... and then we remove their Section 230.

2
kag-2020- 2 points ago +2 / -0

lmfao! They are so arrogant, it's unbelievable. The second I trust a broadcast network to do anything but peddle propaganda to lie to people is the second I've become too senile to have common sense.
