Correct. And that's why it's so vitally important for people to show out on the streets. If they know people will just go along with it by just bitching and moaning online then the easy path for them is to move the country in that direction for the sake of "peace" and "unity".
If enough people are actually showing that they'll put themselves on the line for what they value and believe in then that's more pressure on the courts to rule via the law.
