Brazil has mandatory voting. You can't open businesses, get a job, bank account, etc if you don't have 1) the certificate of voting in the last election or 2) a justifiable excuse or 3) paid the fine for not voting.
We have ~200 M hab (around 210M) and less than 120M voted last election (~30M didn't go for whatever reason and the rest 50M probably fall into very old or very young to whom it's optional).
So no, NOT EVEN PLACES WITH MANDATORY VOTING get >95% turnout.
If you want all legal votes to count consider my post - election software is extremely vulnerable: This could explain a lot of the outrageous numbers.

I doubt you would even get 95% with mandatory voting.
Brazil had 20+% people who didn't show up to vote in 2018 when voting is mandatory there and you have to pay fines if you don't show up without a justification, etc.
Recounts very rarely flip races - in PA there is a good case for fraud and throwing out ballots, but I don't think we will get something like that in WI or NV.
I realize that, but it's going to be very hard to PROVE that in court. You think the Dems don't know what they're doing?? They perfected the art of stealing elections (the didn't do it in 2016 simply because they fell for the fake polls saying Hillary was going to win in a landslide).
Thanks - I am not being pessimistic, just being real, because a lot of folks are spreading false hope (let's not be like the Dems in 2016!). It's essential that we flip PA, but that's not enough - we have to flip others.
I first "discovered" Richard Baris (OP Tweet) on Steve Bannon's WarRoom live stream on election night. I like him and like hearing him run through the numbers. He's got the makings of an Election Night superstar imo.
Even 86% exceeds the turnout in mandatory voting nations. 86% is a statistical impossibility that turnout was that high anywhere in the US. To put this in perspective, many US states have a literacy rate that is lower than 86%, because getting that many people to do something is so hard to achieve. It’s just a tremendously high number.
Even places where its mandatory the highest its ever gotten is like 93%
You could be giving away free sandwiches, beer and pot and not get 90% turnout in Philadelphia.
Besides, no one was excited about voting for Harris/Biden and Hate for Trump is not enough of a reason to even get to 80% turnout.
Stats don't lie and they are screaming FRAUD, but the establishment is deaf.
Exactly... most of those lazy shitheads don't even wake up until the polls close at 8pm.
It’s not that the establishment is deaf, it’s that they have their fingers in their ears and screaming “lalalalala I can’t hear you!”
80-85% is the maximum.
Australia again with MANDATORY VOTING managed 91%. They fine you if you don't vote.
Argentina has COMPULSORY voting. They managed 81% during their last national election.
Peru has MASSIVE sanctions for not voting. They managed 71% last national election.

Last time I checked, jury duty participation was mandatory. Is that why they call 400 people when they need 60?
They strike a lot of jurors and a lot have reasons (good and bad) they can't participate.
My point was that they call more than they need because a lot don’t show up. Sure they strike some, but a lot are sent home without being considered.

I am actually sick to my stomach with how vulnerable all this election software is.
We turned out so many that they had to go near 100% turnout with their ballots lol.
I've looked into mandatory voting countries. For example Brazil's presidential election had a 80% turnout rate.

In Argentina voting is mandatory. Turnout is in the high 70s/low 80s.
This is fraud, pure and simple.
Reclaiming PA is not enough for us to win - we have to also get AZ, NC, and GA.
Hopefully their strategy can be optimised in PA, then applied in other states.
Or WI, or NV, or all five
Recounts very rarely flip races - in PA there is a good case for fraud and throwing out ballots, but I don't think we will get something like that in WI or NV.
There are tens if not hundreds of thousand ballots that were illegally handled in WI

Same with NV
What fucking idiots downvoted me for telling the truth?? Flipping PA is not enough to win if the other states remain where they currently are.

if one falls we will take the rest
Luckily we don't have to pick just one.

Bruh, I don't think you even get that turnout WITH mandatory voting.
I do not understand where the 95% number is coming from. What is divided by what?
When I do this math I come up with 86%. What am I missing?

I got the same number. Not a good look for a purported data expert to mess up like that :/
In Australia its compulsory to vote you get fined if you dont.
We get 90-95% turnout.
Plus ours is on a saturday.
When is mandatory it's only 90-95%
what the hell is this? what are the state pundits response to this?
