I once saw a movie called 'There's No Place Like Utopia' by Joel Gilbert. He goes to a Detroit shithole neighborhood that's been voting democrat for 50 years. He asks the citizens if they would every consider changing their vote to a republican, pointing out how terrible it is. Their answers "No". I still hope most people will get it, but some will never change.

Does anyone remember whether this also happened with Al Gore in 2000? They could of course have preplanned responses for whoever the media says won, but I find it repulsive anyway.
I live in Florida and it took like a month to go over each ballot. Then the republican legislature was about to make the call on the electors and Gore gave in because he had no legal standing.
