The idiots who hate diesel just don't fuckin get it. When I deletes my cummins I started getting damn near over 20 mpg. When my buddy deleted his new tractor, it now takes half the gallons per acre. Bonus he doesn't have to run around balls to the wall for an hour, usually right before getting done with something, because the fucking thing thinks it needs to "regen".
same with my duramax, getting 20-22mpg highway on eco tune. now i don't need DEF so subtract the pollution made to produce it and deliver it to stores so i can buy it for my truck. epa can suck my left nut.
