Don’t get why one would need backup irons to primary irons. If you’re thinking about a red dot take a look at a Trijicon TR24. I’m never going back to red dots after that thing. I swear I shoot better with the quality of that glass and the dot glows (tritium). Another plus is if you wear glasses you won’t need them to see after you focus the optic
