Other than quantities, I made the exact same order a few weeks ago.
I wasn't sure about those UTG mags before I ordered, but they are very nice. They appear to be at least equal in quality to those pmags. I kinda wish I'd skipped the pmags and spent the same money buying more UTGs.
The only advantage of the pmags, as far as I can tell, is the dust cover. And I store my mags in closed ammo cans, on racks hanging upside down, or in chest rigs with the butt out. Not much opportunity for dust.
I have a ton of metal GI mags, but I recently got a RDB-S that is very sensitive to the exact magazine width at the point of the retention catch. Metal magazines can get very slightly crushed - so slight that I can't even tell, but the gun can.
Solution - more polymer magazines.
My metal mags are all loaded with XM193 and XM855. I might just toss them in mylar bags with dessicant and oxygen scavengers and vacuum seal them. For a rainy day.
