that would be really easy to spot as they are duty bound to keep the original. (there has been a case in this election where ballots were already deleted and local election officials said that's illegal, so Trump's legal team should have little problems getting those dismissed.)
Instead of duplicating the entire ballot, they are probably going to change the vote to Biden, why don't they just fill in the scratch that is preventing the machine from reading it

So how do we know that they were actually printed in a proper machine? How did the machine make the printing error? What will happen to the originals to ensure that they aren't conveniently discarded afterward?
