Unsubscribe and manually search the channel. Also, opening the video to downvote it still counts as a view. Although, I'm not sure if it still does if you manage to downvote while and ad is running.
I've seen YouTube creators encourage people to watch their videos all the way through as it helps their engagement numbers. Whether it counts as a view or not I couldn't say.
I know that, because on the channel traffic/engagement statistics page it will tell you the total engagements, as well as other various stats such as average watch time, and repeat views. The more people come back, and longer they watch, I'd think the algorithm favors and recommends the video more. However, even if you just watched it for 1 second, you still engaged with it, so I'd assume that would count as a view. The thing I don't know is how they define an engagement. Whether it is following a link/thumbnail/imbedded url to the video, or actually playing it.

I don't allow autoplay so it never plays to begin with.
So, that doesn't count as a view? The view becomes triggered when the play button is clicked?

Viewing for 30 seconds 'counts' as a 'view'...

I think youtube only registers a view if you've watched a certain percentage of the video.
Oh, that's good to know. There's been several times I've wanted to dislike a video, but didn't wanna boost the view count.
