He has been friends with Trump for 20+ years. Christie said, if you’re gonna claim fraud, then you need to provide evidence. He didn’t shit on the idea, or say Trump should STFU or anything like that. He said what most of us believe: show us the evidence.
"Show us the evidence" is such a bullshit claim by the media right now though because:
(1) It's only been 5 days; in many places the crime is still ongoing, therefore there's not yet been full investigation, and
(2) they mean HARD evidence, and would not accept circumstantial evidence, no matter how strong it was.
Put these two things together and "show us the evidence" is just a way of shutting you down. It's completely disingenuous and intentionally misleading.
