To the best of my knowledge neurologists determine the cause of brain damage and blockages that could cause or be the cause of a current case of dementia. Dementia and Alszhiemers are fairly easy to see now that we know so much about them. Psychological exams would determine extent of the dementia and whether or not its affecting daily tasks along with prescribing medications to combat the illness
Doesn't a neurologist determine dementia? Not a psychologist. Am I wrong with this logic?
