I can see you're commenting the whole way down the line here... but I don't honestly understand why you wouldn't just say "Ok, then maybe those guys won't go to work. Even if someone in this conversation implied or said "every truck driver" there's no way that's ever going to be any more true of that group than of any other group described... too many people and everyone has their own complications. I think you just got off to a bad start for some reason, but no one here hates you or thinks you should put your family in jeopardy if your individual situation can't take that kind of hit, so just don't join that strike, if it happens, and that'll be that. What i meant was, after 9 days without truck deliveries all of urban society will begin to collapse. It will stay collapsed for as long as the strike lasts, and only recover weeks after shipments resume. The truckers could be the first shots of a new civil war, and again, please go for it guys.
