God I miss how based people are up there. Of course Anchorage gets the softer side of winter.

yeah we do, it wasn't always like that though. We actually used to have winters. It's kind of funny I worked at the airport few a time and my supervisor assured me that it never hits -20 in Anchorage. I was like uh yeah it does. a week after I quit for a better job it went down to -20 for like 2 or 3 days.

My sister and brother in law live in Fairbanks. Unfortunately, not all Alaskan residents are based.

Yeah we got inundated with people from the west coast unfortunately. They are trying to turn it in to california. It won't for awhile but eventually it probably will.

My sister is pretty apolitical but her husband is from Chicago and thinks that he is some kind of great intellectual that looks down on Trump.

haha, well I guess he is more successful than Trump. I'm betting he isn't.

I used to live in North Pole. When I got there, the winters weren't that bad but we had record snowfall. It hit -50 a few times but not for very long. The last year I was there we had very little snow in comparison but it got damn cold for 2 months straight even by North Star borough standards. I worked at Eielson AFB and it was miserable some days.

that said, the weather never changed how based Alaska is which kills me because they haven't called it yet.

Yeah it seems once we started to get less snow the cold weather hit. That whole area back in the 80s I don't know how anybody lived there in the winter. It was almost consistently -30 to -50. Before being able to plug your car in, you had to keep it running the entire winter. if it stopped you basically had a super expensive lawn ornament until it warmed up.

We had a lot of days like that. I had a truck that shrugged it off, that and I'm a mechanic and not dumb, but my wife had a real rough time with her Murano lol

haha. yeah I actually need to see if the car came with a plug in. It's been kinda cold the last week. Except for today when it snowed then turned into rain.

Ugh that's the absolute worst ever. That's why I hated Fall so much. I'd rather it be dry and -40 than wet and in the 30s.

In my small Alaskan town, pretty much everyone is pissed off at the steal. Watch them try to steal the senate race up here for commie Al gross over Rino Sullivan who is currently up big when they start “counting” the mail in ballots on Tuesday. I’m no huge Sullivan fan, but he’s the lesser of two evils in this case.

Fuck mail in voting and election fraud. Glad to see this in anchorage tho.

Yeah there's no way gross won. That guy was fucking annoying. I know Dan was up by like 100,000 votes so we will see what happens. like I said if gross wins or kamala wins here, the fraud is insane.
