When me and my girlfriend moved in together, we did cancel one of the subscriptions. Still hard to 100% give it up.

I canceled mine a few months ago after cuties was put out
I finally deleted mine at the Cuties release. Left that in the notes as to why i was deleting it. That was after a discussion with the girlfriend about how much were double paying for services. Amazon prime was the other one.
I know it would be more meaningful to stop both subscriptions for netflix. On the flip side though, we did both delete facebook in the past 3 months due to the censorship. I know many are holding off on taking that leap of faith.

I haven’t had Netflix for years I ripped all my movies and run my own Netflix type of service using Plex it’s not hard and it’s only content you want. You can stream it anywhere/anytime and share it with friends/family it’s amazing

Netflix isn't in the business of appealing to adults, anyway. Their selection of movies made before the year 2000 is appalling. Before 1980, its non-existent. They are not so much an entertainment network as an indoctrination machine.
Its original programming consists of either (a) woke/PC shit (The recent Chicago 7 movie that nobody cared about), (b) generic 'empowering' fantasy garbage, usually involving a teenage girl getting magical powers that she will use to get revenge on the white men who've been oppressing her.
Amazon is much better. Yeah I know, Bezos. But they have shows that actually acknowledge that people want to watch entertainment without leftist messages being rammed down their throat - Bosch, Jack Ryan, and The Boys (though that last one is kind of all over the place politically). Apart from that, you will find plenty of movies from all eras and genres. OK I'm starting to sound like a pro-Amazon infomercial, but I can always find something to watch there.
