How can these 'software glitches' keep happening on voting machines when the code to write these systems is literally just basic addition?

I cant for the life of me understand it. Literally any first year computer programming student could write the software for adding and storing votes from a voting machine yet the keep fucking up...?

Heres another thought; let's assume the software is purposely giving Trump votes to Biden by design. How can Trump prove it in under a month?

From what o understand Hammer is the OS for surveillance and Scorecard is the app to change votes.
