At the risk of sounding like braindead, script-reading Tier 1 tech (non)support, have you tried forcing a refresh? Ctrl-F5 for PCs, CMD-F5 for Macs, not sure what mobile browsers use offhand.
I know earlier I had that issue with most of the graphics being gone, but it's working fine for me now (Waterfox).
I honestly wasn't trying to do that lame "trick newbies into shutting down [W|w]indows" thing, just hadn't finished purging the blood from my caffeine stream.

CTRL + F5 is the refresh for Windows. :)
