I've never found a community online as respectful to each other as we are. Hands down.
Why is this? We have a common goal. Not just an interest. A GOAL.

Whenever I post ANYTHING on other sites, I always get attacked. Even the most mundane sites will gleefully point out some spelling error or tell you that you are dumb because you didn't say the sky is sky-blue after saying it was blue.
For all the cries of hate, I have seen ZERO here.
It's because those types of folk still on those sites are all competing with each other for fake internet points. They love PROVING how intelligent and superior they are to you. Always competing. Even with their own. They devour each other. I also think most of them lean toward sociopathy and narcissism too.

I've actually posted the opposite of something and the same thing happens.
So, I'll post "they sky is blue" and they will say "no, it is sky-blue"
and so later on I'll post, "The sky is sky-blue" and they will post, "It is black at night."
So you can't win.

If you ever want the most accurate answer to a question, just go on reddit, ask the question, then answer it yourself with the wrong answer.
You'll get enough data to write a thesis.
