I'm not sure how you are breaking this up but I think the easiest way would be to assign 5 to 10 min chunks to people. They wouldn't even have to archive the footage for themselves to start, one could just assign precise time stamps on readily available videos (such as the links already available on Phase One) to get them started and if a stream goes down, refer to an archived version at that time.
30 minute chunks or 1 hour even.
That's a lot to track for one pede out of the gate, not to mention that it might take someone far longer if they have to stop for work and so forth (given the amount of time required). A 5 or 10 min chunk has a higher likelihood of maintaining accuracy throughout the work, and results have the increased probability of being returned faster (think hours not days).
We have plenty of manpower and from last count, I heard it was like 27 hours of footage? 60 (min in an hour) x 27 (hours) = 1620 minutes of footage and at 5 min each person, you'd only require 324 pedes and less than that if people came back for seconds.
The problem really is organization for the person dolling out the footage chunks, but that can be lessened with each pede being assigned footage and having that same pede return with the accomplished work and identifying it by the video and time stamp they were originally assigned. The organizer could create a list while dolling out footage and mark people off as they returned with finished work (saving or discarding their work, depending on what they found).
Once the pede is done, the organizer can assign them more work, if the pede requests it, from either an unassigned chunk or someone else's who hasn't returned back yet with their findings. One can also assign someone to double check other work, etc.
Perhaps we also need to assign a manager to each feed so the management task of coordinating the autists is also broken down into a manageable chunk
The smaller the better. More manageable in tiny chunks and easier to check work. Cuts down on procrastination too. I suggest 5-10mins each, and assign a ton of pedes to turn in and grab more, etc.
